Benefits of COIL on Development of Intercultural Sensitivity in an American Higher Education Course
Role: Researcher/Author

For my Undergraduate Honors Thesis at SUNY Cortland, I was invited to research an American sports management course at SUNY Cortland that collaborated with Finnish students over the Fall 2019 semester. I surveyed these students with a measure of Intercultural sensitivity before and following the collaboration.
In addition, I synthesized students' qualitative reflections on the experience to gain perspective into their social-emotional and cognitive development during the course to investigate their process of intercultural competence development.
